MedStar Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our Urgent Care team. You will perform clinical imaging and related duties, support patient flow, and document in the EMR under physician supervision.

The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure (MD/VA/DC), and a degree in radiologic technology. You will work in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Associated degree in radiologic technology.
• Completion of an approved Radiologic Technologist program.
• Externship in a medical or ambulatory health setting.
• 2 years of medical office experience preferred.
• ARRT certification.
• Licensure in MD, VA, or DC.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Code of Conduct and compliance policies; ensures safety and quality of care.
• Manage patient flow and assist with imaging procedures and documentation.
• Operate X-ray equipment, transmit images to radiologists, and maintain equipment.
• Support patient preparation and educate patients as needed.
• Assist in front desk tasks and patient intake under supervision.
