Job summary

American Family Care is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to balance high-quality imaging with clinical support duties in our urgent care setting. You will perform X-ray exams and collaborate with providers to deliver timely patient care.

The role offers flexibility to cover MA clinical duties, with MR task support and equipment QC responsibilities, within a fast-paced urgent care environment. Base pay is competitive with benefits and opportunities for CEUs.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology in good standing.
• Current BLS certification required.
• 1+ year urgent care/ER imaging experience preferred.
• Strong insurance verification and EMR documentation skills.
• Flexible team player willing to cover MA/MR duties.
• Experience in radiology, CT, or MRI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology (X-ray) exams safely.
• Work as an X-Ray Technologist while supporting urgent care operations.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure timely care.
• Flex into MA clinical duties (triage, labs, venipuncture, wound care) when not imaging.
• Support MR tasks (insurance verification, registration, payment collection).
• Maintain equipment QC and logs.
