Job summary

American Family Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for our urgent care clinics in Worcester, MA. You will perform X-ray exams, support operations, and ensure patient care is efficient and safe in a fast-paced setting.

We value ARRT certification, BLS, and at least 1 year of urgent care imaging experience. You will verify insurance, assist with registrations, and help with MR tasks as needed, while maintaining QC and compliance logs.

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified (R.T. (R)) in good standing; state license where required.
• Active BLS certification required or must be obtained within defined onboarding period.
• 1+ year urgent care imaging experience preferred.
• Strong insurance verification and EMR documentation skills.
• Flexible team player willing to cover MA/MR duties.
• Experience in radiology, CT, or MRI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as an X-ray technologist and support urgent care operations.
• Perform diagnostic radiology exams safely following ALARA.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure timely care.
• Flex into MA clinical duties when not performing imaging.
• Support MR tasks: insurance verification, registration, payment collection.
• Maintain equipment QC and compliance logs.
