Job summary

American Family Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray exams and support urgent care operations. You will balance imaging duties with hands-on clinical tasks and collaborate with providers to ensure timely patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires ARRT certification, current BLS, and preferably 1+ year Urgent Care imaging experience. Compensation includes hourly pay, benefits, and opportunities for CEUs and advancement.

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified in good standing; Radiologic Technologist license where required.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1+ year urgent care/ER imaging experience preferred.
• Strong insurance verification and EMR documentation skills.
• Flexible team player willing to cover MA/MR duties.
• Experience in radiology, CT, or MRI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as an X-Ray Technologist while supporting urgent care operations.
• Perform diagnostic radiology (X-ray) exams safely, following ALARA.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure timely care.
• Flex into MA clinical duties (triage, labs, venipuncture, wound care) when not performing imaging/radiology.
• Support MR tasks (insurance verification, registration, payment collection).
• Maintain equipment QC and compliance logs.
