Job summary

American Family Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to balance high-quality imaging with clinical support duties in our urgent care centers in MA. You will perform X-ray exams, support patient care, and assist with triage and basic clinical tasks as needed.

The role requires ARRT certification, BLS, and 1+ year of urgent care imaging experience. Evening/weekend coverage is expected; competitive pay and benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified (R.T.) in good standing; Radiologic Technologist state license where required.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1+ year urgent care/ER imaging experience preferred.
• Strong insurance verification and EMR documentation skills.
• Flexible team player willing to cover MA/MR duties.
• Experience in radiology, CT, or MRI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as an X-Ray Technologist while supporting urgent care operations.
• Perform diagnostic radiology (X-ray) exams safely, following ALARA.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure timely care.
• Flex into MA clinical duties (triage, labs, venipuncture, wound care) when not performing imaging/radiology.
• Support MR tasks (insurance verification, registration, payment collection).
• Maintain equipment QC and compliance logs.
