American Family Care’s corporate-operated urgent care network seeks a PRN Radiologic Technologist to balance high-quality imaging with front-desk support in a fast-paced environment across MA and surrounding states. The role offers flexible shifts and opportunities to maintain imaging skills while supporting MA duties.

You will perform X-ray exams, collaborate with providers, follow ALARA, and assist with insurance verification and registrations.

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified radiologic technologist in good standing and eligible for licensure where required.
• Active BLS certification required or to be obtained within onboarding period.
• 1+ year urgent care/ER imaging experience preferred.
• Strong insurance verification and EMR documentation skills.
• Willingness to cover MA/MR duties; CT/MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as an X-Ray Technologist supporting urgent care operations.
• Perform diagnostic radiology exams following ALARA protocols.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure timely care.
• Flex into MA clinical duties (triage, labs, venipuncture, wound care) when not performing imaging.
• Support MR tasks (insurance verification, registration, payment collection).
• Maintain equipment QC and compliance logs.
