Job summary

American Family Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures to support physician diagnosis of injuries and illnesses. The role includes assisting with patient registration and basic medical assisting tasks while maintaining strict ALARA safety practices.

Responsibilities include proper patient positioning, image processing, and ensuring image quality for review by physicians and radiologists.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in radiologic technology or related field.
• ARRT-registered or eligible; state license required.
• Experience with diagnostic imaging and patient positioning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and explain procedures with compassion.
• Position patients for diagnostic imaging and ensure ALARA safety.
• Process images and prepare for physician review; assist radiologists as needed.
• Maintain records and assist with patient registration and medical assisting duties.
