Job summary

American Family Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to balance high-quality imaging with clinical support duties in our urgent care setting in Florida. The role involves X-ray exams, collaboration with providers, and potential MA duties when imaging isn’t required.

Active ARRT certification with state license (where required) and BLS are required, with 1+ year urgent care imaging experience preferred. Competitive pay and benefits are offered, with evenings and weekends coverage expected.

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified radiologic technologist with current state license where required.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1+ year urgent care/ER imaging experience preferred.
• Strong insurance verification and EMR documentation skills.
• Flexible team player willing to cover MA/MR duties.
• Experience in radiology, CT, or MRI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as an X-Ray Technologist while supporting urgent care operations.
• Perform diagnostic radiology (X-ray) exams safely, following ALARA.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure timely care.
• Flex into MA clinical duties (triage, labs, venipuncture, wound care) when not performing imaging/radiology.
• Support MR tasks (insurance verification, registration, payment collection).
• Maintain equipment QC and compliance logs.
