Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a Patient Care Technician or similar role; OR equivalent education/certification
• Preferred experience in Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine, and/or Phlebotomy
• Must register patients accurately in EMR and maintain HIPAA confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Take patient history and record vital signs
• Perform phlebotomy for specimen collection if certified
• Complete lab paperwork for tests and results in the EMR
• Conduct point-of-care tests (e.g., strep, influenza, urine tests)
• Assist providers during exams and procedures and maintain patient flow
