WellNow Urgent Care in Joliet, IL is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team. You will take patient histories, measure vital signs, and assist with exams and phlebotomy as needed, ensuring accurate documentation and seamless patient flow.

Qualified candidates will have 6+ months of PCT experience, CPR certification, and familiarity with EMR systems. We offer competitive pay starting at $21/hour plus benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ months of experience as Patient Care Technician or similar healthcare role.
• Preferred Urgent Care/Occupational Medicine or Phlebotomy experience.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and medical documentation.

Responsabilités

• Take patient history and vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy if certified.
• Complete lab paperwork and computer entries for tests.
• Conduct point-of-care testing (strep, influenza, glucose, etc.).
• Assist providers with exams and procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Ensure equipment is functional and rooms are stocked.
