WellNow Urgent Care is hiring a Patient Care Technician to support clinical and front-end operations in a busy urgent care setting. You will collect patient histories, vital signs, and perform phlebotomy if certified, while documenting tests and coordinating records for ancillary care.

The role emphasizes assisting providers during exams, maintaining HIPAA, and ensuring smooth patient flow with strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a Patient Care Technician or similar role.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EMR experience and basic clinical skills preferred.
• CPR certification and Medical Assistant credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take patient history and obtain vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy if certified.
• Document lab orders and results in EMR accurately.
• Conduct point-of-care tests (strep, flu, glucose, U/A, etc.).
• Prepare and coordinate records for ancillary care.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and clean/stock exam rooms.
