Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care in Michigan seeks a Patient Care Technician to support front and clinical operations. You will take histories, obtain vital signs, assist with exams, and help ensure smooth patient flow in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package including medical coverage, education options, 401(k) with company match, and opportunities for growth as we expand our locations.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of Patient Care Technician experience or equivalent education/certification.
• Preferred Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine, or Phlebotomy background.
• Ability to use EMR and maintain HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Take patient history and obtain vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy if certified and collect samples.
• Complete lab paperwork for tests (blood/urine/etc.).
• Assist providers with exams and tests.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
