WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support front-end and clinical operations, ensuring smooth patient flow and accurate recordkeeping. The role emphasizes patient history, vital signs, phlebotomy if certified, and coordinated care in a fast-paced urgent care environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a Patient Care Technician or similar role.
• Preferred Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine, and/or Phlebotomy experience.
• CPR certification and Computer/EMR skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Take patient history and obtain vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy for lab samples if certified.
• Complete paperwork and enter orders for lab tests.
• Perform point of care tests (strep, flu, glucose, etc.).
• Coordinate records for ancillary care and assist providers.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and keep rooms stocked.
