Job summary

NextCare is seeking a Part-Time clinician to join our Maricopa, AZ urgent care team. This role is ideal for clinicians who value variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact while practicing in a fast-paced, well-supported urgent care environment.

Clinicians at NextCare enjoy true work-life balance, including no after-hours tasks, flexible scheduling, and monthly schedules released in advance. Our full-time schedules are designed so clinicians are off more days than they work.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Arizona license for NP/PA.
• Board certification or eligibility (NCCPA for PA; ANCC or AANP for NP; FNP preferred).
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain.
• Active BLS certification and DOT certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to treat patients of all ages and proficient in EHR.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management.
• Communicate diagnoses and discharge instructions clearly.
• Document care accurately in the EHR and maintain productivity.
