NextCare is seeking a Full-Time clinician to join our urgent care team in Tucson, AZ. This role offers variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact while practicing in a fast-paced, well-supported clinic.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted AZ license or eligibility for NP/PA.
• Board certification or eligibility, as applicable (Family Medicine).
• Active DEA license required.
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR).
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management.
• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR.
• Code and bill services appropriately.
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks.
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values.
