Job summary

NextCare in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Full-Time clinician to join our urgent care team. This role offers clinical autonomy, variety, and meaningful community impact within a fast-paced, well-supported urgent care environment.

Clinicians enjoy work-life balance with no after-hours tasks, flexible scheduling, and advance monthly schedules. The schedule features three 12-hour shifts weekly, with a full benefits package and competitive hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• Active AZ license for NP | PA (as applicable).
• Board certification or eligibility (as applicable).
• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain).
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• EHR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management.
• Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Document care in the EHR and code/bill services.
• Maintain productivity aligned with urgent care benchmarks.
• Adhere to NextCare clinical standards and values.
