Job summary

NextCare is seeking a part-time clinician in the East Valley of Arizona to join our urgent care team. You will provide clinical care to a broad patient population in a fast-paced, well-supported setting with autonomy and meaningful community impact.

We offer a schedule with 12-hour shifts, no after-hours tasks, and predictable monthly rosters. Licesning, DEA, and NCCPA are essential, and FMCSA/DOT certification is highly desired for growth and variety.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Arizona license.
• NCCPA certification.
• Active DEA license.
• Ability to treat patients of all ages.
• Active BLS certification.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays.
• FMCSA/DOT certification highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable)
• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
• Code and bill services appropriately
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values
