Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Southeast Michigan is seeking an experienced Office Coordinator to oversee specific areas of the medical office in collaboration with the Practice Manager. You will ensure patients receive friendly, efficient service and maintain smooth workflow across the office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with management/supervision coursework.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Management or Healthcare Administration preferred.
• Experience supervising medical office staff is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of assigned areas.
• Coordinate care and serve as a liaison between patients and providers.
• Assist with recruitment, hiring, orientation, training and coaching of staff.
• Maintain scheduling and attendance for staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and support disciplinary actions as needed.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
