Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group seeks an Office Coordinator with an MA background to oversee urgent care office operations and train Medical Assistant staff. This role partners with the Practice Manager to deliver exceptional patient care and maintain efficient office flow.

Responsibilities include supervising day-to-day operations, coordinating care between patients and providers, and supporting staff recruitment, training, and performance management to uphold service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in a Medical Office, with Reception or cross-trained Medical Assisting duties.
• Credentialed Medical Assistant required if training MA staff.
• Education with relevant management/supervision coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of assigned areas.
• Coordinate care and serve as liaison between patients and providers.
• Assist with recruitment, hiring, orientation, training and coaching of staff.
• Maintain scheduling, time and attendance for staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and assist with promotions/discipline.
