Ascension Seton Pflugerville Urgent Care in Pflugerville, Texas is hiring full-time clinicians to provide direct patient care in an outpatient setting. Qualified candidates hold Texas NP or RN licensure, a Master's in Nursing, and BLS certification; DEA credentials are preferred.

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required before hire date or transfer date.
• BLS Provider preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• DEA credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care to treat common illnesses and injuries, and perform procedures and diagnostics.
• Formulate treatment plans by ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic procedures, ensuring timely intervention.
• Counsel patients and families on wellness, treatment pathways and community resources.
• Support and coordinate care with higher levels of care and ensure timely follow-up with PCPs and specialists.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Join an established team of physicians and APPs.
• Practice setting: Outpatient.
• 4 weekend shifts per month requirement.
• APP coverage will include multi-site care.
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system.
• Deliver direct care to treat common illnesses and injuries, as well as performing procedures and diagnostics. Will conduct patient histories, physical assessments, and interventions to support and deliver compassionate patient care.
• Formulate treatment plans by ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic procedures, ensuring timely intervention and continuity of care within a supportive, physician-collaborative practice model.
• Empower patients and families by providing clear counseling on wellness, treatment pathways, and community resources to improve long-term wellness and self-care.
• Support and coordinate care when higher levels of care are necessary, as well as ensuring timely follow-up with primary care physicians, pediatricians, and specialists. In addition, outpatient imaging, physical therapy, and RX services are available to patients.
• Practice with full clinical autonomy, enabling you to operate at the full scope of your license.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.
