Ascension's Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, Texas, is seeking a pediatric surgery provider to join a dedicated team. The role is full-time with rotating schedule, offering opportunities to care for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings within a nonprofit health system.

Qualifications

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing and Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive pediatric surgical care by collaborating closely with surgeons and the Surgery/Trauma APP team to diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Empower families and hospital providers through dedicated education and counseling on preventative health, specialized treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Champion accurate patient care journeys by documenting clinical assessments and treatments to ensure high-quality, seamless continuity of care.

• Join our established team of 10 physicians and 20 APPs
• Practice setting: inpatient and outpatient

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
