Job summary

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted AZ license for NP/PA.
• Board certification or eligibility, as applicable (FNP, etc).
• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain).
• Active BLS certification.
• EHR proficiency and comfort with clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures (e.g., suturing and wound management).
• Communicate diagnoses and discharge instructions clearly.
• Document patient care accurately in the EHR and code/bill services.
• Maintain productivity aligned with urgent care benchmarks.
• Adhere to NextCare clinical standards and values.
• Support clinical leadership with guidance and mentorship.
