Job summary

NextCare in Avondale, AZ is seeking a Full-Time clinician to join our urgent care team. This role offers clinical autonomy, meaningful community impact, and a fast-paced but well-supported environment with a three 12-hour shifts per week schedule and standard clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM seven days a week.

You will work with experienced clinical teams, receive clear practice guidelines, and access real-time mentorship, ensuring a balanced workflow and opportunities to maintain skills

Qualifications

• AZ license for NP/PA with board certification or eligibility.
• DEA license or willingness to obtain.
• BLS certification and proficiency with EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in urgent care.
• Manage acute illnesses and injuries.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures (suturing, wound care).
• Communicate diagnoses and discharge instructions clearly.
• Document care in EHR accurately.
• Code and bill services.
• Maintain productivity per urgent care benchmarks.
• Follow NextCare clinical standards and values.
