Job summary

NextCare in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team. Work three 12-hour shifts per week in a fast-paced, well-supported environment, with clinics open daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

You will diagnose and treat patients of all ages, perform urgent care procedures, order tests, and coordinate care with experienced peers. We offer true work-life balance, no after-hours tasks, and mentorship from clinical leadership.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted AZ license for NP/PA.
• Board certification or eligibility: NCCPA for PA; ANCC or AANP (FNP) for NP.
• Active DEA license.
• Ability to treat patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable)
• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
• Code and bill services appropriately
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values

Skills

Ability to treat patients of all ages

Education

AZ license for NP/PA

NCCPA certification
