UnitedHealth Group's Atrius Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Urgent Care team in Burlington, MA. This full-time position involves supporting clinicians, preparing patients for exams, and performing routine clinical tasks in a fast-paced environment.

You will take vital signs, assist with procedures, ensure accurate EMR documentation, and coordinate pre-visit requirements. The role includes rotating weekends/holidays as part of a 40-hour schedule.

Qualifications

• Required High School diploma or equivalent or Medical Assistant Certification.
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet programs.
• Preferred: EMR experience and basic lab/test knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate efficient patient flow to maximize appointment availability.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for examinations.
• Measure vital signs and assist clinicians with routine procedures.
• Update EMR with accurate medical information and test results.
• Manage medication refills and reconcile active prescriptions.
• Order and perform point-of-care waived tests (strep, urinalysis, hCG, glucose).
