Job summary

ChristianaCare-GoHealth Urgent Care in Delaware region seeks a Medical Assistant to support examination and patient check-in, including vitals, specimen collection, and room preparation. On-site role with strong team collaboration across urgent care providers.

We offer hands-on training, supportive onsite managers, medical/dental/vision benefits, and 401(k) with company match. PTO starts at 208 hours annually.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Medical Assisting program preferred.
• MA certification or equivalent (see qualifications).
• Experience as Medical Assistant and Front Desk preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire; multiple MA certs accepted.

Responsibilities

• Register patients, verify paperwork and insurance eligibility.
• Process co-pays and schedule appointments.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists.
• Prepare patients for examination and assist providers.
• Perform point-of-care testing and manage supplies.
• Maintain medical records and charts.
