ChristianaCare-GoHealth Urgent Care, a fast‑growing urgent care network in Pennsylvania, seeks a Medical Assistant to support examination and treatment under urgent care providers. You will handle check‑in, vitals, specimen collection, and room preparation while ensuring patient flow and documentation accuracy.

The role requires a Medical Assisting program graduate, High School diploma, and BLS certification; multiple MA certifications are accepted or required, with CPOE within two weeks.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assisting Program required.
• Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Front Desk experience preferred.
• BLS certification required at hire (ARC/AHA).
• CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, or NRCMA certifications required or acceptable at hire.
• CPOE certification required within two weeks of start date.
• In lieu of MA certification, RN/LPN or Accredited Nursing graduate acceptable.
• EMT certification accepted.

Responsabilidades

• Register patients, verify insurance and schedule appointments.
• Coordinate referrals to Specialists.
• Explain care and update patient status.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers.
• Take vitals and conduct basic tests as needed.
• Stock supplies and maintain exam/front desk areas.
• Maintain medical records and scanning of charts.
• Answer calls and manage daily correspondence.
