Zusammenfassung

GoHealth Urgent Care is hiring a Medical Assistant to support urgent care centers across the region. You will assist in examinations, register patients, collect vital signs, and prepare specimens for lab analysis under the direction of an urgent care provider.

Responsibilities include managing check-in, handling co-pays, coordinating referrals, maintaining clean exam rooms, and performing point-of-care tests.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assisting Program required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire.

Aufgaben

• Register patients, secure paperwork and insurance documentation.
• Process co-pays and schedule appointments for centers.
• Coordinate provider referrals to a Specialist.
• Answer patient questions and inform them of status.
• Prepare patients for examination and record medical history.
• Perform point-of-care testing and collect specimens as needed.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and front desk areas.
• Assist with daily opening/closing duties and cash handling.
