GoHealth Urgent Care in the Delaware/Maryland area is seeking an energetic Medical Assistant who will support examination rooms, perform basic exam procedures, and assist frontline staff. The role includes patient check-in, vital signs, sample collection, and simple point-of-care testing under the supervision of an urgent care provider.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, MA program training, and BLS certification, with preference for recent graduates and MA experience in

• BLS Certification required at time of hire.
• Graduate of a Medical Assisting Program preferred.
• Experience with patient check-in and registration is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Register patients and verify insurance eligibility.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage co-pays.
• Answer patient questions and communicate care status to them.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers with procedures.
• Perform point-of-care testing (e.g., flu, strep) as needed.
• Stock supplies and maintain cleanliness of front desk and exam rooms.
• Maintain and document medical records and charts.
