Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of Medical Assisting Program preferred.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• CPOE certification within two weeks of start date.
• Alternative certifications accepted: Nursing/LPN/RN or EMT.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify insurance.
• Process co-pays and schedule appointments.
• Assist with examinations and take vital signs.
• Draw blood and prepare specimens for labs.
• Maintain exam rooms and stock supplies.
• Document medical records and ensure accuracy.
• Answer calls and support front desk operations.
