Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care in Arizona is seeking an energetic Medical Assistant to join a fast-paced, team-oriented clinic. You will support providers with exams, vitals, and procedures, administer medications, and perform routine labs while delivering patient-centered care.

You will contribute to front and back-office tasks as needed, ensuring smooth patient flow and adherence to safety, accreditation, and EMR/EHR standards in a high-access healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completed an APPROVED Medical Assistant training program.
• National certification CMA/AMT/CCMA or eligible/required depending on state policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider with exams, vital signs, and procedures.
• Administer medications per policy and provider direction.
• Perform blood draws and urine collection as needed.
• Support front office duties when required.
• Maintain proficiency in EMR/EHR and laboratory processes.
