Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an approved Medical Assistant training program.
• National CMA/CCMA/RMA certifications are acceptable as options.
• Must be proficient in EMR/EHR systems and able to follow clinical policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with exams and procedures including vitals and direct patient care.
• Administer medications per policy and provider direction.
• Perform blood draws and prepare specimens for testing.
• Support front office activities as needed and maintain patient flow.
• Adhere to laboratory accreditation and safety protocols.
