NextCare Urgent Care is hiring an energetic Medical Assistant to support exams, vitals, specimen collection and front-office duties in a fast-paced clinic. You will work under supervision, administer medications, perform blood draws, and help maintain lab quality and patient flow. Strong EMR/EHR skills and patient-friendly communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; MA program completion preferred.
• Certification (CMA/RMA/CCMA) or eligibility required or on offer.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems and patient care protocols.

Responsabilités

• Assist provider with exams, measure vitals and document findings.
• Administer medications per policy and supervise safety protocols.
• Perform blood draws and collect urine samples for testing.
• Support front office duties and ensure smooth patient flow in clinic.
• Maintain laboratory standards, LIS data entry and quality control.
