Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED with ability to provide transcripts.
• Must complete an approved Medical Assistant training program.
• National Certification through CMA/RMA/CCMA is required if program is unaccredited.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with exams and procedures, include vitals and direct patient care.
• Administer meds per policy and safety protocols; perform blood draws and urine collection.
• Support front office tasks, inform patients about wait times and discharge processes.
• Maintain EMR/EHR accuracy and participate in laboratory duties as needed.
