Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You will support providers with exams, vitals, and direct patient care, and you will be involved in front-office and laboratory tasks.

Responsibilities include medication administration, blood draws, urine collection, splinting, casting, and performing sports physicals. You must be proficient in EMR/EHR and adhere to COLA/CLIA requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and clinical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider with exams, vitals and procedures under supervision.
• Administer medications per policy and safety protocols.
• Perform blood draws and urine collection for testing.
• Conduct splinting, casting, and physicals as needed.
• Explain procedures and notify provider of unusual patient events.
• Support front office tasks as needed to keep patient flow smooth.
