South Peninsula Hospital in Homer, Alaska seeks an administrative/clerical professional to be the welcoming first face for patients, delivering smooth, efficient scheduling, registration and communication with care and empathy. You will operate the front desk and multi-line switchboard, maintain records with confidentiality, and support a team in a patient‑centered environment.

This is a full-time, union role with three 12-hour day shifts and 0.9 FTE, offering comprehensive benefits including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of experience in computerized hospital patient accounts preferred.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism.

Responsabilités

• Operate the front desk and multi-line switchboard, directing calls and visitors appropriately.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, employees, vendors, and the public.
• Perform administrative tasks using office equipment including computers, fax machines, and copiers.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality in all communications.
