Job summary

South Peninsula Hospital’s Information Technology team in Homer, AK is seeking an IT Help Desk professional to provide frontline support for clinical and business systems and assist healthcare staff across the organization.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, log and escalate tickets, and keep documentation and asset records up to date while delivering responsive, professional service in a critical healthcare setting.

Qualifications

Associate degree or two years of technical support experience.
Experience with Microsoft products and desktop support in a professional setting.
Working knowledge of networking protocols and troubleshooting.
Experience with server-based systems and Windows Server preferred.
Experience with CPSI or comparable HIS is highly desirable.
Strong customer service and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

Provide timely Help Desk and technical support to hospital staff via tickets and phone.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues with escalation as needed.
Maintain and document support requests, resolutions, desktop inventory, and software licensing compliance.
