Job summary

Kansas Health System's Creekwood Family Care is hiring a Patient Service Representative- Urgent Care part-time to greet patients, manage front-desk check-in, handle calls, collect copays and support EMR/MyChart workflows.

The role covers scheduling, registrations, and post-visit follow-ups, with 2-3 weekday evenings, weekend shifts, and alternating weekend coverage. Requires high school diploma and 1+ year healthcare or customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 1+ year of customer service or health care experience.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Visit Scheduling: schedule referrals, appointments, and ensure the patient itinerary is coordinated across providers.
• During Visit: manage high-volume check-in/out, collect copays, verify demographic/insurance information, support MyChart and EMR use.
• Post-Visit: schedule follow-up orders and ensure coverage until the last patient is dismissed.
• Standard responsibilities: participate in daily huddles, uphold patient experience standards, maintain clinic workspace and PPE guidelines.
