Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, ID is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our Lake Hazel Urgent Care team. You will greet patients, collect co-pays, answer calls, schedule appointments, and verify insurance while delivering compassionate, accurate service.

Proficiency with EPIC and a patient-first mindset are valued, along with attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and staff in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time day-shift role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Electronic health record (EHR) experience a plus.
• Medical terminology preferred.
• Experience with process improvement or lean philosophy preferred.

Responsabilités

• Check in patients for appointments and complete paperwork.
• Collect and record patient co-pays and communicate balances.
• Answer telephones and take accurate messages; schedule appointments.
• Verify and update patient and insurance information; check insurance eligibility.
• Use EPIC to update required information and maintain accurate records.
