Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a friendly, empathetic front desk specialist for our Boise Pain and Spine Clinic. This role handles patient check-in, paperwork, insurance data, and payment collection with a focus on excellent service.

You will work four 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM–6:00 PM) Mon-Thu, supporting a diverse pain and spine team. Healthcare experience and EHR familiarity are valued, with opportunities for growth in a mission-driven organization.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience required. Healthcare experience preferred. Electronic health record (EHR) experience a plus. Medical terminology preferred.
• Experience with process improvement or lean philosophy preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients immediately and provide a positive customer service experience.
• Register patients for appointments and complete paperwork.
• Verify and update existing patient and insurance information.
• Keep patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient arrival.
• Inform patients of delays and the anticipated wait time.
• Collect, record, and communicate patient balances for visits, tests, and supplies.
• Maintain knowledge of payer practices and deductibles.
• Assist patients with Financial Assistance paperwork.
• Maintain a neat work area and cash handling procedures.
