Job summary

American Family Care Sanford is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to care for patients within the scope of training and approved agreements, collaborating with other providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high patient satisfaction.

The role involves working directly with a franchised location; duties and benefits may vary between franchises. A strong emphasis is placed on emergency readiness and comprehensive patient care within outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator with staff, patients and family.
• Able to multi-task and work independently.
• ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA board certification preferred with ER/UC experience.
• Active PA or NP licensure, DEA and state CS certificate as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete health histories, review records, develop medical assessments, and order appropriate tests.
• Formulate diagnoses and refer patients to facilities or resources.
• Institute emergency measures and stabilization in critical situations.
• Interpret patient data to determine status and management.
