Job summary

American Family Care is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to care for patients within the scope of training and governing guidelines. The role works with a franchised location, ensuring efficient patient flow and high satisfaction, with compensation noted per hour.

The AFC model emphasizes a walk-in, urgent-care style environment across multiple locations, with strong emphasis on teamwork and community health.

Qualifications

• Board certified as PA or NP with 1 year ER/UC experience preferred.
• Active and current licensure for the state of practice, plus DEA number and state-controlled substance certificate.
• Able to multi-task and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Take complete health histories and develop medical assessments.
• Refer and manage patient care and coordinate with facilities and resources.
• Institute emergency measures and stabilization for critical situations.
• Interpret patient data to guide treatment decisions.
• Provide guidance on health care and prevention to patients and families.
• Other duties as assigned by the franchise.
