Job summary

American Family Care delivers urgent care across franchised locations, seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to care for patients within training scope and approved agreements. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to maintain efficient patient flow and high satisfaction at the AFC site.

The role requires board certification and active PA/NP licensure in the state, plus the ability to manage diverse clinical cases with independent initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff.
• Active PA/NP license in practice state.
• Board certification by ANCC/AANP/NCCPA preferred.
• DEA number and state-controlled substances certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Take complete health histories and perform comprehensive medical assessments.
• Order labs, imaging, and diagnostics as appropriate.
• Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses and coordinate referrals.
• Institute emergency measures and stabilize patients as needed.
• Provide patient and family health care guidance and education.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervising clinicians.
