A current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license is essential, along with board certification. Qualifications

• Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified – (with 1 yr ER/UC experience preferred).
• Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state‑controlled substance certificate, as required.
• A able to multi‑task and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete, detailed, and accurate health histories and develop comprehensive medical assessments.
• Institute emergency measures and emergency treatment in urgent situations.
• Provide instructions and guidance regarding health care and health care promotion.
