Job summary

American Family Care is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to care for patients within the scope of training and approved agreements, in our Aurora, CO walk-in centers that operate seven days a week.

The APP works with other providers to ensure efficient patient flow and high satisfaction, with responsibilities spanning histories, exams, testing, diagnoses, treatments, and patient education, under state licensure guidelines.

Qualifications

• Board certification in ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA.
• Active PA or NP license in the practice state.
• DEA registration and state-controlled substance credentials.

Responsibilities

• Take complete health histories and review patient records.
• Develop medical assessments and order needed tests.
• Formulate diagnoses and determine treatments or referrals.
• Provide emergency measures and stabilization when needed.
• Give healthcare guidance to patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
