Job summary

American Family Care Timberline is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (AP P) to deliver patient-centered care in our urgent care setting. The APP will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient patient flow and high satisfaction, treating patients with a family-like approach and fostering strong teamwork across all center operations.

Responsibilities include comprehensive histories, diagnoses, therapy plans, emergency stabilization, data interpretation, and health promotion

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Board Certified – ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA (ER/UC experience preferred).
• Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate.
• Able to multi-task and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete, detailed health histories, review patient records, develop medical assessments, and order labs/imaging as appropriate.
• Formulate medical diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals.
• Institute emergency measures and stabilisation in cardiac arrest, shock, hemorrhage, seizures, poisoning, and allergic reactions.
• Interpret and analyse patient data to determine status and management.
• Provide care instructions and health promotion guidance to patients and families.
• Other duties as assigned.
