Job summary

American Family Care is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our urgent care network, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care with physicians and staff. The APP will work in a fast-paced environment to manage histories, diagnoses, therapies and referrals.

Board-certified (ANCC/AANP/NCCPA) and licensed as a PA or NP in the state are required, with emergency stabilization skills desirable. Compensation ranges from $60.00 to $80.00 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Candidate must communicate clearly with staff, patients and families.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced setting.
• DOT certification is preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive health histories and review records.
• Develop medical assessments and order labs/imaging as needed.
• Diagnose, treat, and refer patients to appropriate services.
• Institute emergency measures and stabilize patients as required.
• Provide health care guidance to patients and families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
