Cambridge Public Schools is seeking a Math Teacher for CRLS (Grades 9-12) in Cambridge, MA. The candidate will plan and implement curricula per MA standards, fostering problem-solving and critical thinking in a diverse student body.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Math and Massachusetts Teaching License are required.
• Experience teaching Mathematics to grades 9-12 in an urban setting.
• Commitment to equity and culturally responsive pedagogy.
• Familiarity with Massachusetts Curriculum Framework for Mathematics and math practices.
• Strong communication with students, families, and colleagues.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Massachusetts State Standards and CRLS guidelines.
• Communicate regularly with students and families and involve families as partners.
• Identify student needs and collaborate to address instructional gaps.
• Establish a classroom culture of high expectations and growth mindset.
• Collaborate with special educators, coaches, paraprofessionals, and support staff.
• Assess student understanding and differentiate instruction based on data.
• Integrate social-emotional learning and foster a safe learning community.
• Build partnerships with community organizations and utilize technology to enhance learning.
