Young World Physical Education is hiring a Summer Math Preview Program Teacher for Cambridge Rindge and Latin School. This part-time role involves teaching students in summer programs while fostering a growth mindset and employing differentiated strategies.
The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree and have Massachusetts certification for grades 9-12. The program aims to provide equitable access and support for historically marginalized students, ensuring a joyful learning environment.

Description of Service Opportunity:
Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (CRLS) is a school with a goal of providing all students with rigorous, joyful, and culturally responsive learning, as well as social, emotional, and academic supports to help students succeed post‑secondary.
CRLS offers Summer Preview Programs for students planning to take an Honors or Advanced Placement class next year, particularly those who have historically experienced racial and/or economic marginalization. These programs are for a two‑week period.

Each class will review and reinforce prerequisite skills while previewing essential content and skills needed for a successful start to the school year. The course incorporates studentship skills such as note‑taking, organization, time management, participation, and self‑advocacy. Teachers must employ differentiated instructional strategies for diverse learners.
Demonstrate and encourage a growth mindset philosophy and risk‑taking throughout the experience. The preview course will be held during the summer of 2026.
