Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Required.
• Experience working in an urban setting, preferred.
• Experience working with diverse student populations, preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply student performance data to instructional planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Assess effectiveness of mathematics instruction using student learning data.
• Instruct assigned classes at designated locations and times.
• Plan a program of study meeting individual student needs with varied instructional techniques.
• Create a learning environment conducive to student engagement and growth.
• Set objectives for lessons, communicate them clearly to students.
• Support BRCPS philosophy and instructional goals.
• Provide progress reports and maintain records as required by policy.
• Be available to students and parents outside instructional hours.
• Plan and supervise teacher aides and volunteers; collaborate with department heads.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in committees.
